Expanded mesh balustrade - subtle protection in a modern interior

The expanded metal balustrade on the mezzanine is not only a safety feature, but also a distinctive architectural detail - industrial, visually light and refined in every detail.

Expanded mesh balustrade - on the mezzanine floor

Expanded mesh balustrade - functionality and design on the mezzanine floor

The expanded metal balustrade was made in a private mezzanine house in Lindetal, Germany. A powder-coated steel structure in anthracite color (RAL 7016) was used, which ensures durability, abrasion resistance and high aesthetics. The overall design fits in with the modern industrial character of the interior, which is dominated by a combination of black, wood and spacious glazing.

The use of expanded steel mesh balustrade is the perfect solution for projects where safety, transparency and lightness of form are important. The mesh does not restrict light, so the mezzanine remains visually open, and the structure gains in lightness. At the same time, the whole thing performs the function of effective protection of the edge of the upper floor.

This solution is recommended both for single-family house projects, as well as service buildings or office spaces. Balustrades of this type are gaining more and more recognition in modern architecture, especially in loft, soft loft and industrial arrangements.

Application: mezzanine balustrade, interior steel balustrades, steel mesh balustrades, industrial balustrades, powder coated modern balustrades, mezzanine protection.

Realization: Lindetal, Germany
